RECRUIT VOLUNTEERS
Helping ESCCA find volunteers from your school / organization community is a very important part of the school / organization chair's role. Organization chairs will be asked to select dates throughout the school year where their organization will commit to providing the 4 volunteers needed for those specific dates.  School chairs will not be assigned specific dates, but rather will be asked to share ESCCA volunteer opportunities with their communities throughout the school year.

COLLECT CLOTHING
Chairs may choose to hold one or two clothing drives at their schools / organizations during the year.  Schools should also have a permanent ESCCA collection bin in the school for continuous collection. It is important that these bins be emptied regularly. Collected clothing should be sorted and inappropriate articles removed before bringing it to ESCCA. Chairs may leave the donated items in the drop box outside of JEH (1500 McDaniel).  Please review our donation guidelines HERE.  Items that are not a good fit for ESCCA (including items that do not meet our guidelines or are ripped, stained, etc) may be donated elsewhere, like Goodwill.

PUBLICIZE ESCCA ACTIVITIES AND NEEDS
Throughout the year, the school chairs should submit content about ESCCA for the school newsletter and/or other school communications. Examples could explain the services ESCCA provides, request volunteers, thank volunteers, request clothing donations, and encourage financial donations for ESCCA. The ESCCA School / Organization Coordinators will provide content on a regular basis during the school year for chairs to use.
